The economic and market impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak have dramatically impacted all markets and industries, including the oil sector. Demand destruction combined with significant oversupply has caused price collapse and created serious shortages in storage capacity.
This trilateral webinar was organized alongside the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law & Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and the Energy Initiative at Tecnologico de Monterrey. The webinar included experts from the three countries, who provided an assessment of each country's oil and gas sector reality during COVID 19, and policy recommendations essential for the sector to move from crisis to recovery.
