2025 Hours
MAY: Starting MAY 9 we're open weekends (Fri-Sun) and Victoria Day, 10 a.m., to 10 p.m.
JUNE and JULY: Open 10 a.m., to 10 p.m., daily, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when we are closed to the public.
AUGUST and SEPTEMBER: Open 10 a.m., to 7 p.m., daily, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when we are closed to the public.
OCTOBER: Open 10 a.m., to 7 p.m, on Oct 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, and 13.
SENIORS' DAY: Seniors' Day starts June 5 and runs every Thursday until September 25. Free coffee will be available for seniors (65+) at The Cafe and the Bee Line hop-on-hop-off tram service will be offered most Thursdays typically running between 11 a.m., to 3 p.m.
Cafe al Fresco
New for 2025, Cafe al Fresco, operated by the Party People Catering Co., will be serving up a delectable assortment of fresh-made sandwiches, bowls, salads, hot dogs, ice cream and baked goods, along with coffee, cold beverages and wine and beer. Cafe al Fresco is open during regular Garden hours and seniors (65+) can receive a free coffee every Thursday from June 5 to September 25 as part of Seniors' Day.
Partial Closures
On occasion, parts of the Garden will be closed for private events or maintenance:
- June 22, 2025: Aga Khan Garden closes at 4:00 p.m.
- July 10, 2025: Talar Building closes at 1:30 p.m.
- August 2, 2025: Talar Building closes at 4:30 p.m.
- August 9, 2025: Aga Khan Garden closed from 10 a.m., until 12:30 p.m.
- August 29, 2025: Aga Khan Garden is closed all day.
- September 21, 2025: Aga Khan Garden closed from 10 a.m., until 6:30 p.m.
Accessibility
Much of the Garden is accessible by wheelchair on hard-surface pathways. There are some areas, including natural areas where surfaces may be rough or uneven. Loaner wheelchairs are available at the Welcome Center on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If this is your first time visiting, we recommend reading through the information above to make the most of your time with us. We also recommend you bring the following:
- Your camera — there are many photo opportunities!
- Comfortable footwear will make your day a happier one.
- Dress for the weather — in ß÷ßäÉçÇø, you never know!
- Protective items — bring sunscreen, insect repellant, and a sunhat (in winter, mitts, warm coats and hats!)
